Employment Training Specialist The Employment Training Specialist will provide case management, training, employment, supervision and coordinated services to Client Employees in the program. Act as main liaison between rehabilitation team members within and outside of Kandu Incorporated. Provide back up and support to Production Supervisors and other Employment Training Specialists. Must have strong proven written/verbal communication skills as well as demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word. Must be able to be positive and supportive of a team approach and work style. A Bachelors Degree Psychology or other social service area is required. Two years of experience in a rehabilitation facility may be substituted for degree requirements.
Employment Placement Supervisor Lead Kandu's placement and job procurement staff providing job placement to a variety of individuals with employment barriers and disabilities. Develop job and career placement opportunities to assist the organization in providing various opportunities for individuals to gain competitive employment. Coordinate communication and service delivery outcomes with third party payers and community partners. This position reports to the Rehabilitation Services Director. A master's degree in rehabilitation or related clinical field preferred, 3-5 years experience supervising a variety of professional and paraprofessional staff is required. Candidate must be comfortable speaking with individuals and groups of community partners and businesses to expand placement opportunities for the people we serve.
On-Call Job Coach Must be available 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and/or 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm. May include some weekends. These positions are on-call (as needed) with no guarantee of hours. The Coach's work schedule will change with each new assignment. Assignments typically last 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. Responsibilities include mentoring, training and providing support to individuals in the community as they learn a new job to assure their success.
